Summary
Concerning Caird's contribution to Knight's volume "Scotch Sermons" which was published the following year; apologizing that he has had to bother him about the sermons but explaining that he did not bring "...many sermons with me here & will not be in Glasgow for some weeks. But I will gladly look out & if I find any that can go without revision, for which I have not time at present, I will gladly send them to you. You may count on one at any rate. I wish I could spare time to make them [illegible] of a select volume, but they must just go with all their sins on their head. What corrections are needed can, I suppose, be made in the proof."
