Explaining that he asked to see his proofs on his article on Spinoza and Hegel not because of any "difference of opinion" but rather because he felt there was "...a danger that one or two incorrect phrases in relation especially to Spinoza & Hegel might be laid hold of to your disadvantage; making his suggestions in detail and at length while explaining the "...principle which underlies the whole."
