Summary
Sending him a cabinet photograph; discussing letters of the Cambridge Platonists and saying he thinks the Bodleian must have some; suggesting that if Knight has "...any that are very rare wh. are likely to be wanting in the Bodleian, you might send a list of them to E.W.B. Nicholson, Librarian of the Bodleian; saying he would be glad to speak to the Secretary of the Delegates of the [Oxford University] Press about the Letters..."...But I think it would be best for you first to address a letter thro' him to the Delegates giving a general description of them. You could state the matter better than I, & your letter w'd reach the whole Board, with whom the decision must lie. I c'd send your lists at the same time for their consideration;" offering to speak to the Secretary on his behalf but suggests that it is best he write himself.
