Summary
Declining an invitation to attend the Wordsworth meeting in London; asking whether he is entitled to get more copies of his book from Blackwood and saying he would like enough extra copies to send one to each of the people who have sent him copies of their book; saying they have enjoying their time with the Rawnsleys and that "He is a real 'child of nature' & grows on me much. He spent all his spare time evangelising against the Borrowdale Railway wh. I hope he will be able to stop;" commenting on how pleased he is with the look of the engraving for his book [on Hegel]; adding "Green's Ethics will soon be out & will be a really powerful contribution to our subject;" concluding, in a postscript, "We are to have Bright here in a fortnight to exhort the students as Rector. I wonder how he will do it?".
