Summary
Replying to her inquiry on mechanical royalties; explaining the delay in replying to her letter due to his travels in East and South Africa since the previous June; apologizing that he is unable to "...tell you anything about the mechanical royalties as nothing is being sent out to me here in my absence - but why not write and ask Mr. Leslie Boosey - he would tell you at once. Badbury Rings I don't think did much - it was too high class - but it is one of my favorite songs. You may be interested to hear that I broadcasted several of my songs at Johannesburg & Durban and that 'My dear Soul' was included in both programmes. I gave a talk on each song and spoke about you."
