Summary
Giving him permission to reprint an address but asking to see the proof before it is published; adding "There is also some idea of reprinting it in a volume of papers by the House of Lords - our chief difficulty is with L'd Salisbury - The only works of his which we can find are a few anonymous Quarterly (or other) articles, and they are all on controversial politics - We had hoped that he had also written on subjects such as history or chemistry - Perhaps you may be able to help Principal Donaldson by recalling something else - Of course, we might ask him to write something special, or we might wait for publication until after he has given his Presidential address to the British Assoc. this year, and use that."
