Summary
Concerning Knight's memoir of John Nichol; saying he has not forgotten that Knight would like correspondence Bryce had with Professor Nichol "...but I have not had a free moment since the end of Sept'r - and am not likely to have any for some time to come, so that it is possible that I may be unable, much as I wish it, to find the letters, or put together such reminiscences as I can, for some little while to come. We are in the middle of urgent business, & I have besides my heavy department the Royal Commission on Secondary Education to run - But I will do my best as soon as I can;" referring to a bill Lord Bute has before the House of Commons that may impact St. Andrew's.
