Telling Knight that he has sent his letter to his brother William Brooke and asked William to write Knight: "It was he, I think who got those portraits. Bell, the photographer at Ambleside, knows, I think about them. Anyway my Br. will"; asking about a book project: "Do you still want that book for Murray? I have been getting it ready for you -- but if you don't wish it, let me know. I can dispose of it."
