Summary
Apologizing for not responding earlier; responding to Knight's request that he write an essay: "As to the little paper -- I would glady do it, if I could think of something on which to write. But I have been so 'rushed' with daily work, & I have had so little strength till within the last week, that I have not felt capable of doing more than I have been forced to do -- & that takes up 8 hours at least a day. It is little, I dare say, to you, but it has seemed a great deal to me this winter when I have not been as strong as usual. And Sunday is as busy as any day in the week. What shall I write about -- Can you give me anything you would wish me to do? I should very much like to write."
