Summary
Small envelope marked "For Vogue / St. Ex- / 'memoires'"; enclosing a French air mail stamp featuring Saint-Exupéry.The 50F + 30F stamp was designed by Pierre Gandon in 1947; the stamp was issued on 19 January 1948 and withdrawn on 5 June 1948; the surtax of 30F was for the benefit of the French Mutual Aid Society; it features a portrait of Saint-Exupéry and an image of a plane.
