Stopford Brooke's brother William worked closely with him on the Dove Cottage Trust. The Morgan holds two letters by William, MA 9044 and the verso of MA 9087.22.

A collection of 61 autograph letters and postcards signed, to William Angus Knight; written between 1878 and 1906, and possibly in other years, from London, Glasgow, Grasmere, Dublin, and other locations in Great Britain, Germany, and Italy; discussing the work and legacy of William Wordsworth, publications on Wordsworth, the creation of the Dove Cottage Trust (later the Wordsworth Trust), the establishment of Dove Cottage as a museum, donations (financial, and also in the form of books and prints) to the Trust, Brooke's preaching at Bedford Chapel, his lectures and writings on the history of English literature, and his health.
