Summary
Asking him, on behalf of the Alderley Edge Lecture Committee, if he could give a lecture next February or March with the subject to be determined at a later date; saying "As we have lectures now only once a fortnight in the winter it is difficult to arrange for a course except in the case of Lecturers who are not far distant; adding that Fridays are best and that the Committee is able to offer him ten guineas plus railway expenses; suggesting he might try to arrange for other lectures in the area at the same time; adding that she has spoken to the person in charge of the lecture series at Bolton and the Manchester Committee is no longer in existence.
