Summary
Referring to a speech she gave and thanking him for his kind note; saying "I am no good at that sort of speech making but I could not refuse to go, when I was so kindly invited. I am an Episcopalian too as you know & felt a little like 'Saul among the Prophets!['] I think the movement is a good one & calculated to do good if it is properly worked. I am so sorry to hear about your loss, but at that age one feels there is always a calmness & want of struggling, in 'crossing the Bar.' What stormy weather again."
