Summary
Giving his opinion that Dickens would probably not be willing to give a reading at present, "being obliged as he must be to refuse so many requests of the kind. Moreover, I don't think he would read when as hard at work as he is now."; stating that he expects to see Dickens at Christmas and that he will let Hewlett know if he is "able to do anything".
