Summary
Concerning Professor Knight's book on Principal Shairp; enclosing his "'Shairpiana' of which I can only say that they are veritable. The two letters are, I think, pleasant additions. I hope to send the Excursion notes very shortly;" adding his hope that the Jubilee will bring him to England and to Salisbury.
