Summary
Thanking Knight for returning the letters by John Nichol that she had sent him the previous year, to assist him in preparing a memoir of Nichol (see MA 9052.1); recalling Knight's visit to Penkill Castle: "My niece & I often talk over the pleasant little visit you paid us here. Alas we are too far removed from St. Andrews to hope for your coming this way again, which I need not say would be a pleasure to us."
