Summary
Inviting Knight to visit her in Ayrshire and mentioning that she has many works by David and William Bell Scott that he might like to see; writing that she has looked further but has been unable to find any more letters from John Nichol (see MA 9051.1); mentioning that she was shocked to hear of the sudden death of William Minto's widow, Cornelia Beatrice Booth (née Griffiths), from her husband Williamson Booth, and expressing concern for her children: "This is most sad indeed for the poor boy Charlie who is so helpless from paralysis without a mother's care, & the little girl also who is a very sensitive child requiring watchfulness, so that altogether it is most melancholy."
