Summary
Being a letter in which Jarry reveals the feeble conditions of both his physique and "phynances;" confiding that he had taken Natanson's advice by retreating to his hometown of Laval to recuperate from tuberculous meningitis; relating the progress of his writing and publication projects; expressing his intention to dedicate his collection "La Chandelle verte" to Natanson and his brothers; explaining his need of 5 louis (100 francs) to get to Paris within the week in order to collect his manuscripts before his ex-landlord disposes of them.
