Summary
Apologizing for the delay in sending a summary of his accounts, wishing he could give the task of keeping track of his expenses to someone else but accepting that it is "incumbent to my place;" reporting that his prediction of their annual expenses at £800 is proving to be accurate even though the cost of boarding and housekeeping has been higher than he thought he would be but it is "... none more than they give in other places, Besides they are certainly better entertained & lodged then they could be any where else. In short they want hardly any thing they would have at home, & are as tenderly taken care of, as they would be by any housekeeper in England;" saying they heard he was to go to Bath and they hope the trip was a success; adding that the boys "...long to hear some thing from y'r Grace about what I had the honour to write concerning their hair & the learning of some musick by Lord Peregrine."
