Acquired as part of a large collection of letters addressed to William Angus Knight, Chair of Moral Philosophy at the University of St. Andrews and Wordsworth scholar. Items in the collection have been individually accessioned and cataloged.
The year of writing is not given however she is thanking him for the additional volumes of Wordsworth's Life. Knight published the final three volumes of his works on Wordsworth as volumes 9-11 in 1889.
