Summary
Being a six-line fragment of a letter from EBB to Horne, cited below, in which the concluding six lines are written on the inside of the mourning envelope flap and saying "...nevertheless nothing is yet fixed - perhaps I may hear more tomorrow when I shall hear from Papa. I always do on Sundays. I hope the cream passed the Bishop of London yesterday on its way to Guido. / Truly yours / E B Barrett';" being an autograph mourning envelope with stamp, postmarks and a black seal to "R H Horne Esqr / 36. New Broad Street. / City / London." There are pencil notations on the face of the envelope which appear to be in two separate and unknown hands. The first, likely in Horne's hand, "Kenyon - Miss Sedgwick - America" and the second, "A few lines omitted - to be inserted in 1st paper - see also postscript."
