Thanking George for his letter and writing that he is glad George likes his "new little book" (referring to "Pacchiarotto"); mentioning his treatment of Alfred Austin in the book; hoping that his letter reaches George at Engelberg; sending news of Pen; writing that he and Sarianna "rejoice to think that you are in so delightful a place as you describe, and with such memories of travel too!"
