Thanking George for a gift of "brawn" (head cheese): "[I]t is superior, to my taste, to the Cambridge productions I used to enjoy now & then at Christmas-time in old days"; mentioning that Henry (referred to as "Harry") stopped by the other day when RB was out, though Pen spoke with him; telling George that a plaque honoring EBB has been installed over the entrance to Casa Guidi and giving him a copy of the inscription (in Italian); writing that a small selection of his work has been recently published.
