Summary
Concerning his intention to call on her; saying "Up to this moment, my dear Miss Barrett, I have never known certainly if I sh'd (bodily) be able to call in Wimpole St - because I could not call merely - I sh'd certainly remain an hour or two, (or three or four.) All my arrangements were built for the day I named, I f therefore I do not call, it will be from impossibility. And I will write from Prussia, presently; and when I return, I shall hope to make the acquaintance of your sisters, and that they will not believe one fraction of a syllable of the rude things laid to my charge by dear Mrs. Orme and dear E.B."
