Summary
Commenting on a review from "The Weekly Chronicle;" saying "I have no idea who the writer is, but sh'd conjecture him to be a young hand. He is one of the few critics of the public press who have heads upon their shoulders. I think he is unfair to over-look the 'explanation' in the Preface - as to our title. But of course there is some truth to his objections. Had I been the sole projector, and proprietor I would have ordered some things differently. But we must do what we can, when we cannot do all we would" adding, in a postscript, "You foresee the 'storm' of bulls from the 'magazines', I suppose. Take no fear for me."
