Summary
Writing to the manager of the Chatto & Windus firm concerning publicity for his novel The Deemster, with suggestions on positive reviews to include on the flyleaf, and enclosing a notice for his book from the Newcastle chronicle ("It is so very warm that I think it would be well if you would keep it at hand, for however good our other notices may be it is hardly possible that we can get a warmer one than this ... It would make a good advertisement immediately the book is actually out - not before, as I fancy some critics object to being anticipated.").
