Summary
Telling Knight that he knows of no signed article by Lord Salisbury, except one which appeared in the National Review, "upon the Housing of the Working Classes"; saying further that Salisbury once gave an address on science that excited some interest, but that he does not know whether this speech would meet Lord Bute's requirements; writing that his own St. Andrews address has already appeared in a volume of essays published by Douglas, and though he gives his permission for its republication by Knight, Knight should also communicate with Douglas about the matter.
