Summary
Writing that he does not know the exact amount in the Arnold Memorial Fund, but that a fair estimate would be £6000, out of which Oxford received £1000 and the sculptor Albert Bruce-Joy also received a fee for his bust of Arnold; confessing that he does not know where he has put Richard Cobden's letters "but all the books are shortly going to be 'spring cleaned' & then perhaps we may find it"; sending news of his wife Ella's health.
