Summary
Discussing a possible pamphlet publication of a speech the Duke delivered to the Liberal Unionist Association; expressing his skepticism that a pamphlet will sell well; saying "...unless pamphlets are taken up by some organizations and circulated artificially they do not now sell well. I have had some experience in this - and find it - comparatively useless to print speeches, in pamphlet form. It is a form of reading which has gone out of fashion - is superseded by the daily press as regards the multitude, whilst educated men read Reviews & Serials chiefly, if not only;" adding that he will be happy to help in any way if Professor Knight would like it published.
