Summary
Saying to Marchesa Angélique Potenziani that when she receives these lines, Sophie will have been married and may perhaps even have left already, however, the thought of seeing her daughter's happinesss assured, should compensate for the separation from her; reporting that her husband and Camille regret that they could not attend the wedding and thanking her for the kindness extended to her son during his long stay at her house; referring to a religious matter the Marchesa is trying to settle with the "Sacré tribunal" (papal court of justice) and asking her to come to Naples as soon as possible, suggesting various ways of traveling (either by land or sea); adding that they have two houses, not large, but comfortable, and that she shopes her sister, as well as Laure, will feel at home there.
