Summary
Saying to a friend that his juliation at his promotion to cardinal could not have been more affectionate and obliging; stating that he is much indebted to him for his continuing search to find a husband for his ward and that he would be please to quickly get an answer from Sig. Lazzarelli; adding that he does not know to whom his friend has given the commission of a portrait, that he has none handy and that he has reluctantly given permission to a mediocre portraitist to make him one for the lawyers' office.
