Summary
Saying to a friend that he is sorry to hear about his illness, but is glad that he has fully recovered, and warning him to be careful during this time of year to not get an inflammation; telling him that he foresaw this difficulty of finding a husband in this part of the country, in spite of the diligence he devoted to his search, and asking him to be on alert to any opportunity which might present itself; informing him that he is now considering a person not belonging to the nobility, but refined and rich, possibly Sig. Gentili of Viterbo, and that he is hopeful it will work out; referring again, jokingly, to his cardinalate, saying that he is content with the hat he owns, which will protect from the rain.
