Summary
Saying to her recipient that since her past efforts made on his behalf with the Strozzis did not have the prompt effect she had wished for, she hopes that a renewed effort will bring the desired result and that he should be patient for a few more days, in the certain knowledge that she will not tire of rendering service on whatever occasion; also stating that she enjoyed his erudite composition but confessing that he has chosen too weak a subject to excite his talent and that she would feel happy if she could find in herself all those attributes he endows her with; in the postscript, in her own hand, telling his recipient that she remained in bed for a few days with fever and bile problems but that she is feeling better now; also saying that she apreciates his advice and that she will alway be ready to serve him.
