Summary
Saying to her recipient that, since she wishes to add to his satisfactions, and fulfill her duty to him, she would rather employ him in more propitious affairs than the present one; also, stating that she is displeased with the proceedings against him because of an occurred accident, but that she hopes that the cardinals will treat him fairly; assuring him that she will not fail to recommend him to them when the case comes before the papal court of justice and that she has already passed the word to Cardinal Pio di Savoia iuniore, so that he could intervene with the Monsignor, his brother, who is to report his judgement, and she will do the same with the others as soon as he informs her regarding the conclusion of the proceedings and the opportune moment.
