Sending him, at his request, a photograph of himself; with a lengthy postscript concerning Miles's wish to obtain permission to publish some poems by Digby Mackworth Dolben, i.e., "Dolben was a relation of mine and my fag at Eton. When Mr. Beeching was making up his "Lyra" I recommended him to use the opportunity to publish some of Dolben's verses which I showed him. There was some difficulty in getting permission from the sister Miss Mackworth Dolben, but I managed to get over her scruples ... I am not so sure that you cd get leave o print anything fresh."; recommending that he contact Miss Dolben, providing her address, and suggesting that he mention in name in connection with his proposal to publish some of Dolben's previously unpublished verses.
