Summary
Telling Doge Francesco Contarini that his grandfather, Francesco Maria I della Rovere, has always been honored during his life and after and in order not to get the memory of his lost, he wishes to give the Republic of Venice, the most appropriate place for it, a statue that had already been erected as a festure of piety and reverence and a testimony of the service that Francesco Maria I della Rovere devoted to the Republic.
