Summary
Writing to his paternal uncle Barzo de' Barzi that he is glad he is well; saying that he knows that Barzo de' Barzi will always make everything available to him, especially because it is convenient to help those who are studying and knowing that his uncle never loses time and energy for nothing is a stimulus for him who is growing; begging his forgiviness for asking him to keep his word on always providing him with stimuli and expressing his immense love for studying; quoting Plato and Diogenes on the difference between a learned and an educated man; asking him not to betray the faith and hope he has in him; requesting him to take care of his mother and sister and to greet them, and to take care of his health so everyone will be happy .
