Referring to one of Jacopo Malatesta's corporal who is rebelling at Ripostena and suggesting to Giulio da Montevecchio that force should be used against him when two companies of soldiers arrive from Volterra and the rock conquered so that he might surrender; also mentioning military tools that he could use and confirming to him that enemies will not be able to harass them because they are just a few; in the postscript, adding that other military tools are being sent and inciting him to carry on the ambush.
