Summary
Saying that, since the Turkish fleet under the command of Turghud Alì, is said to be hugging the outer coast of Sicily and might sail towards the ports of Elba and Piombino, thus advising Giulio da Montevecchio to make the repairs that he decided to do in order to withstand an attack; telling him that pioneers were sent to the vicarage of Certaldo and that footsoldiers will come from Pescia and others sent by captain Rosa; assuring him that footsoldiers and horses are stored in case of necessity; in the postscript, asking him to send the letters to Elba and make sure that the soldiers are accomodated properly there.
