Summary
Trying to meet up with him in London "...after a succession of beastly hours at the beastly theatre;" saying he came home to find his telegram, went to the Metropole to find him and when he couldn't find him, "...I journeyed back to find you had been here. Oh, me, if I had only sat still! But I will come down at 10 in the a.m. to Flemings's & go with you to the Station. I hear you have had a tragic kind of week. But you will tell me."
