Summary
Thanking him for sending his latest book and sending him a volume in return; noting the ill-effects war time has had on his health; describing his activities as a photographer, "I have done lots of photography in these war-years, much of it being for a book on my stage-work ... But none of my toyings with a camera has ever hampered my normal work for five minutes. It would if I did every process for myself; but I neither develope nor enlarge; and those are the time-wasters.".
