Part of a collection of letters and postcards written by Gordon Bottomley to Tom Turner. Tom Turner was an employee of the Bradford Post Office and a book collector. Letters in the collection have been cataloged individually (see MA 13406.1-21).

Summary
Thanking him for sending him a copy of Mickle Drede and other verses and relating an anecdote concerning the bookseller T. Miles; providing some bibiographical observations in response to Turner's news of acquiring books by Rossetti and William Morris; praising Turner's poetry and looking back fondly on the poetry of the 1890s; regretting that he could not attend the "Yorkshire Authors' Dinner" and that he missed making the acquaintance of Phyllis Bentley; with a note concerning the inadequacy of civic and repertory theaters in performing his plays, and their mutual friend Alec [i.e. Alexander] Keighley.
