Sending two books he has signed, under separate cover; remarking on the different groups of reader's who read his different books, which include, in his opinion, those drawn to the occult themes of his supernatural fiction, those interested in themes pertaining to Nature (as depicted in his Pan's garden and The centaur), and children, and going on to note that "I have found these three Publics very distinctly marked, though various other volumes of mine appeal, perhaps, to all 3."
