Writing to a publisher to inform him that his bookplate was executed by Richard Crane, the brother of Walter Crane; granting him permission to use it, and requesting that they hire the firm responsible for engraving the bookplate, Marcus Ward & Co., to print it; suggesting that the recipient join the Society of authors as a member rather than as an honorary member and providing him with information concerning membership fees.
