Summary
Sending music for an air "which has been forwarded to me from the same quarter from whence I got the air of Home Sweet Home", along with verses to serve as lyrics for the piece, which he observes should be "the very thing for Lady Wm Lenox [i.e. Lennox]"; requesting a sum of ten pounds for the piece, should the music publishers Messrs Goulding & Co. choose to accept it, and specifying that the manuscripts be immediately returned, should they choose to decline the piece.
