Summary
Concerning her shock at the the break in their friendship following her divorce from Ted Hughes, noting "I wish Ted well & have loved him so that as long as he is happy & writing it is all I wish." Remarking that their other mutual friends have maintaned relationships and saying "what has been very sad & very hard is to feel that you & Dido alone have turned your backs & evidently feel it is impossible to be friends independly." Concluding that "All I want is my own life---not to be anybody's wife, but to be free to travel, movel, work, be without check."
