Summary
Informing him of their arrival in Uden "after two long Marches in wh We were unmolested by the Enemy & lost nothing;" reporting on troop positions and troop strength; saying "You will not be sorry to hear that P. Coburg & P. Waldeck are dismissed Gen'l Clairfayt succeeds the first & Gen'l Beaulieu is Q'r Master Gen'l[.] I rather think that this is only a temporary Arrangement but at all Events it is better than the last. A Conference will be held tomorrow between H.R.H., Gen'l Beaulieu & the H. P of Orange;" commenting that he believes "the late Movements in Paris have had little or No Effect on the Army opposed to Us, but should they continue I hope they may oblige either Party to recall part of the Troops."
