Concerning "the unfortunate business of Yesterday"(The Battle of Tourcoing (May 17-18, 1794); offering his assessment of the errors in judgment by the Archduke (Charles, Duke of Teschen) and General Kinsky and the fatigue of the men from the march; reporting on General Clerfayt's positions and informing him of the death of an officer who had long served the King; adding, in a postscript, his opinion on the cause of the loss at Mouscron.
