Notes
Individual items comprising this collection have been cataloged separately.
The majority of the letters comprising the collection are undated and have been annotated in pencil by Greenwood's biographer and former owner of the letters, J.W. Robertson Scott, with dates evidently derived from postmarked envelopes which formerly accompanied the correspondence, and which were evidently removed from the collection at some point before it was acquired by the Morgan Library & Museum. See: Robertson Scott, J. W. The story of the Pall Mall gazette, 1950, page 342.
10 letters from Sir James Barrie to Jessy Greenwood have been removed from this collection and filed in Unbound Ray under "Barrie" (see MA 13215).
