Discussing the new battalion he is forming and the logistics of getting the new men to him; expressing pleasure that his activities have met with General Wellesley's approval saying "You have fought your fight - the worst is over & now you will find your way smoother than ever - there will be no further interference from hence;" continuing the discussion of the new battalion, a "new kind of cloathing for the poor devils - Cloth Jackets to Button like ours to the bottom - & Pantaloons...;" concluding that he sees "no likelihood of my going out of Bombay."
